Premier Creek Lodging Call

Your stay

Everything on the doorstep.

The hotel sits in the middle of Daajing Giids, a short walk from the marina, the shops and the restaurants. Here is what is in the rooms, what is nearby, and how to get here.

In the rooms

Comfortable, and uncomplicated.

A private bathroom in every room

No shared bathrooms down the hall — every room, including the cottage, has its own.

Coffee & a fridge

A coffee machine and a refrigerator come standard in the rooms, so mornings start on your own terms.

Kitchens in some rooms

The Garden Room and the Cottage have their own kitchens — handy for longer stays and cooking in.

Complimentary Wi-Fi

Wireless internet throughout, included with every room.

Water views

Most rooms look out over Skidegate Inlet and the working fishing dock below the hotel.

Open year-round

The lodge welcomes guests in every season, not just the summer.

Cook in, settle in

A kitchen of your own.

Prefer to cook for yourself? The Garden Room and the Cottage each come with their own kitchen — and with the village grocery, the restaurants and the marina all within a short walk, it is an easy place to stay a while rather than just a night.

Getting here

Out to the islands.

Haida Gwaii sits off the north coast of British Columbia. However you arrive, the hotel is in the centre of Daajing Giids and easy to reach by shuttle or taxi.

Fly to Sandspit

The quickest way in is a flight from Vancouver to Sandspit. Eagle Transit runs a mini-bus that meets the airport — about an hour to the hotel. (The lodge quotes roughly $30 by card or $27 cash, one way; confirm current fares.)

Fly to Masset

Pacific Coastal flies to Masset a couple of times a week, and Inland Air charters from Prince Rupert. From Masset you will want a taxi down to Daajing Giids.

By ferry

BC Ferries sails to Haida Gwaii from Prince Rupert, which you can reach by car (about two days from Vancouver) or by train. Eagle Transit can carry you from the terminal to Daajing Giids.

A short walk away

Beyond the village, the islands open up: the beaches and headlands of the north end, the totem villages and heritage sites along the inlet, and the wild reaches of the south. Lenore and Peter are glad to point you the right way once you arrive.
